Our award-winning project, “Exponential Technification for Agriculture through Traceability with Blockchain,” demonstrates how technological innovation can address critical global challenges. This technology allows small and medium-scale farmers to ensure food quality and safety, promote fair trade and move towards environmental sustainability, without relying on connectivity.
Each step in the supply chain is recorded in blocks of information that form an immutable chain, which cannot be modified. This makes it easier for users to know the history of products from their origin until they reach the consumer’s hands.
